TONY ELUMELU FOUNDATION ENTREPRENEURSHIP PROGRAMME (TEF2024)



The Tony Elumelu Foundation is now accepting applications for the Entrepreneurship Programme 2024 targeting young African entrepreneurs and small to medium-scale enterprises. The program, designed to aid economic recovery post-Covid-19, offers world-class business training, mentorship, non-refundable seed capital up to $5,000, and global networking opportunities.


Eligibility

Open to entrepreneurs across African countries.
Targets outstanding entrepreneurs with startups or business ideas poised for growth.

Programme Phases


Categories

Preparatory, Start-up/Beginner, Innovator/Intermediate, Disruptor/Advanced.

Training & Mentorship Phase

Shortlisted applicants undergo rigorous business training, mentoring, and virtual orientation.
Multiple choice questions assess performance.

Business Plan Submission Phase

Successful candidates submit a business plan using a provided template.
Only those meeting criteria proceed to the next stage.

Pitching Phase

Entrepreneurs pitch ideas before a panel of judges.
Successful candidates gain access to seed capital and Alumni network support.

Seed Capital Phase

Entrepreneurs completing all phases open business accounts to receive seed capital.
A Certificate of Completion and Achievement is awarded.
Note: Unsuccessful pitching competition participants receive a training completion certificate and can reapply the following year.
